Grade 4 – 6

The Intermediate Phase is where learners’ develop a deeper understanding of crucial life skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking and how to communicate appropriately. Our teachers make an effort to build upon what students have been taught in the Foundation Phase.

• English (Home language)
• Afrikaans (First additional language)
• Mathematics
• Natural Sciences and Technology
• Social Sciences (History and Geography)
• Life Skills (Creative Arts, personal & social well-being)
• Physical Education
• Computers Lessons
• Bible
• Extra lessons are also offered after school.

During the year we have some fun days planned for our Intermediate Phase, these include:

• Action attraction fun day
• Valentines’ and Spring picnics
• Prefects are selected in term 1
• Tour (Grade 6)
• Concerts
• Talent shows
• Prize giving – All learners are invited, as every learner receives a Christian character certificate
